What wonderful things DON’T I have to say about Marcy?? Right from the first time we spoke, my husband and I knew Marcy was the perfect fit for us for a realtor. We let her know that we were interested in multiple towns/areas and she didn’t bat an eye! Marcy was consistently supportive, knowledgeable, and very quick to respond to our requests and questions. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable throughout the home buying process and never made us feel pressured to make an offer on a home before we were ready. She was kind and respectful to us and to other realtors at showings (even when they did not show her the same courtesy). Marcy helped us during a NUTTY real estate market so finding a house took a bit more time and certainly a bit more effort… yet here we are! Marcy Blocker is a skilled listener. As my seller’s broker her initial goals were to get to know me, what were my plans going forward, the timing of those plans and clarity on how I would facilitate them. Our initial visit lasted 2 1/2 hrs. Marcy had reems of appropriate paper work to launch us into this project of preparing the house for sale, recommendations for enhancing my home's marketability, understanding what to expect day to day, I had had previous experiences with brokers and when she left I was simply astonished at the differences that were so indelibly apparent. I thought to myself this,’woman is a Fulbright Scholar of Real Estate’. My past exposure to this real estate world where with brokers who were simply polar opposites.
Marcy returned one week later. We had another 2 1/2 hr meeting. By the time she left she knew more than I did about my house. From that moment forward I put my complete trust and confidence in her expertise. I knew she would sell my house. I knew I could call her when I needed answers or when I simply needed her support in what I found to be a difficult process. As a single woman in her 70’s putting one’s faith in a stranger to sell one of your greatest financial assets is not easy. Marcy was there for me with every move or change. Marcy always answered my phone calls or texts in a timely fashion……even some in the wee hours of the morning.
